Re-engineered Brown Betty teapot

Re-engineered Brown Betty teapot

Etruria Marl earthenware clay
Rockingham glaze

The Re-engineered Brown Betty teapot is the result of a three year research and development project. Working with the oldest remaining British maker of the pot, historical precedents including patents from the 1920’s have been re-introduced, the Etruria Marl clay and Rockingham glaze preserved and new design details implemented. Great care has been taken to respect the traditions of this everyday object that has transcended fashions and trends to become a classic.
