Jerwood Makers Open 2015
White Stoneware, Transparent Glaze
The installation was commissioned by Jerwood Visual Arts. It is made from a Ton of clay and comprises of hundreds of stacked plates and bowls. A nod to the practice of the late 20th century production potter Isaac Button and his notoriety for being able to throw a ton of clay pots in any one day.
